Inspired by my personal experiences, this platform aims to provide comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging for individuals navigating grief. Through keepsakes and shared stories, I want to offer healing, support, and a reminder that no one is ever alone in their struggles. This space is for those who carry the weight of unfulfilled dreams and seek solace in knowing their story matters.

One of my best friends asked, 'Hey, wasn’t Shiloh born in March?' I told her, 'Maybe, but I actually don’t know the exact dates—when Shiloh was born or when we lost her. My mind has shoved all those details away.' Grief does that. Trauma does that. Sometimes, all that’s left is the ache.

But then there are people who remember, even when I can't. People who hold space for Shiloh in quiet, thoughtful ways. That’s who I choose to keep in my life—the ones who acknowledge the love, not just the loss. And that means everything.

This used to be the time when I’d make plans—IVF cycles, injections, tracking, waiting. So much waiting. But this year feels different. I'm not chasing timelines. I'm not forcing hope into places where it doesn’t fit.

I’m allowing myself to explore the idea that maybe… I don’t have to be a mother to enjoy life. Maybe there’s more to me than fertility treatments and what-ifs. And maybe, just maybe, that thought isn’t as scary as it once was.

Facing the reality of IVF not working can be an overwhelming challenge. 💔 If you've ever felt this, know you're not alone.

The only reason I needed IVF is because of secondary infertility. (And no, I don’t have a baby—see how confusing this is? FML.)

Anyway, my first IVF transfer was a "success"—until I went in for my 20-week scan. "No heartbeat."

Two clinics, two egg retrievals, and five transfers later, my doctor still wanted to "tweak the protocol."

Secondary infertility is tough, but it feels even more isolating when you don’t have a living child earth-side. For me, secondary infertility was caused by my c-section, compounded by countless failed attempts to grow our family. So, we turned to IVF.

This test—along with maybe another 50 cheapies from Amazon—a simple piece of plastic, gave me cautious hope. But the journey that followed was anything but simple or easy.

I’m sharing my story to shed light on the realities of IVF: the hope, the heartbreak, and everything in between.

Looking back at my life feels like staring at a Jenga tower that’s been knocked over. Every loss, every injection, every blood test, every single negative test—it’s like pulling piece after piece out of the tower until it all came crashing down. All of it, in pursuit of one thing: a baby. Literally, just one child.

I’ve wanted so many things in my life. I had this perfect plan: get married before 30, have a kid before 32, maybe have another one a year later so they could “grow up together.” Oh, how naive I was.

Let me tell you, my dreams are still the same, but now they’re a little more realistic. Still, at this point, it’s starting to feel like they’re slipping further and further away.

Not so long ago, I never imagined sharing my story with anyone. Honestly, it felt impossible. The pain was too heavy, too raw, and I didn’t think anyone could truly understand. For the longest time, I carried it alone, quietly navigating a road paved with grief and isolation.

But here’s the thing: grief thrives in silence. And I’m done letting it. Sharing my story isn’t easy, but if it can spark connection, offer comfort, or remind even one person that they’re not alone, then it’s worth it.

To anyone walking this path: I see you and feel your pain
